Yo it truly has been a minute and for that I apologize. The last you heard from me I was in Thailand where I got to celebrate Christmas all 45 of us. Getting to send a joyful noise to the Lord whether that was through walks, giggling in hammocks, or getting to worship together. Coming all together was definitely a different environment that you have to get used to. But regardless it was a blast to reconnect. 45 of us are now all living together in Africa getting for grow closer! While in Africa we got new team leaders my team Albaster had a new team leader Ethan. And man did he push us to be more vulnerable with eachother, how to have deeper intamacy with Christ, and how we can better act like Jesus. Ethan has the ability to ask the hard questions with so much grace and humility and he did just that for the 2 weeks we had with him. Our ministry in the beginning looked like helping in the kitchen, painting new houses built for missionaries and working in different schools. Durning my time in Africa God has been consistent to show his faithfulness to me through providing comfort and stability through him self and our new host. Seeing how he shows me him self in the little moments like getting to hear about hardships that one of the teachers I helped was going through. And even getting my phone stolen and then getting my phone back! Finally time for the story you were waiting for. I did indeed get my phone stolen a casual nap on the beach turned into a hunt on where my phone went. We ended up leaving the beach disappointed about losing my phone. The next evening I check out the location of my phone on my Apple Watch and realized the location has changed and it’s active and moving. Collective chaos broke out on how we are going to find the corporate and get my phone. Jumping in the car with our host, two of our guys, and the tiny Apple Watch for navigation. Once we get to the location the store owner tells us he’s seen the phone but doesn’t have it but based off the interaction we just knew he had it. Law enforcement was just down the road from the shop so we asked for their help and they were eager and ready to help with haste. And with their help, some conversing, and a whole lot of prayer we were indeed able to get the phone back and even pray for the law enforcement. God is so good and desires good things for me and for you. Africa so far has been so good without a shadow of a doubt I will be coming back! The Lord of Lords King of Kings is faithful to the very END! Prayer requests for my students that they come to know Christ. For my squad that we can have a kingdom focused mindset and not a vacation mindset. God loves you so much! Thanks for tuning in.
